Some British Birds is a book with illustrations by Edwyn Collins. Yes, Edwyn Collins the Musician. He made these drawings on a daily basis after suffering from two cerebral hemorrhages in 2005 and had lost control of his right hand.
On the website of Mörel Books they write: "Not only do the illustrations chart his unrelenting endeavor to recover, but the birds ability to defy gravity seem to echo Edwyn’s ability to defy even the most deliberating fate."
